Dr Vivian Yang
Dr Vivian received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University of Otago. Prior to moving to Dunedin to study dentistry, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Physics from the University of Auckland with First Class Honours.
Following graduation, she made the move into general practice on Auckland’s North Shore. Vivian is a firm believer in building trustworthy relationships with her patients and taking the time to connect with every patient heart-to-heart. She has a calm and relaxing approach in dental treatment and always likes to make her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.
Vivian enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in crowns & bridges and digital dentistry. She has also been interested in dental research and published several journal articles about bone grafts and gingival recession. Knowing dentistry is an ever-evolving field, she is committed to keeping up to date with evidence-based dental care and minimally invasive dentistry. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Outside of work, Vivian has a passion for hiking and travelling. She genuinely enjoys the unexpected delights during travelling when she meets and makes friends with people from different walks of life. She is also a regular attendee at her local church in Milford.
